Another great product from Mr. Gasket. High quality thermal sleeving for protecting spark plug wires and/or chassis wiring.
Used to sleeve the 7.5mm (0.2953") spark plug wires on my IHC SV8 after slight expansion of the weave. A 25' roll easily wrapped all my spark plug wires including longer #7 wire which is extended by 18" to help prevent crossfire.
Would be a piece of cake for 7mm (0.2756") and take some* patience for 8mm (0.315"). As for 8.5mm (0.3346"), the wrap is rated for a max of 7/16" (0.4375") and tended to grip the silicon jacket; however, I do say it would be possible with a little more time and effort.
I would say, if one so wished, all the wires running down the frame rail could be packed in this sleeving... including a 10 gauge ground if applicable. Add a little high temp RTV & heat shrink and it'll be purtier than split loom fo sho. Looks great!
(white inner lining is slightly/barely viewable through the weaving, as speckles)
